Tourist Helicopter Crash in Hudson River Claims Six Lives

New York- (LM) In a tragic incident, a tourist helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in New York, resulting in the deaths of all six people on board, including three children. The victims comprised the pilot and a family from Spain.

Emergency responders initially transported two of the injured to a hospital, but they later succumbed to their injuries.

Mayor Eric Adams addressed the media, calling the crash “heartbreaking and tragic.” He confirmed that all six victims had been recovered from the water and pronounced deceased.

Although the identities of the victims have not yet been officially released, media reports indicate that one of the individuals on the helicopter was Agustin Escobar, an executive at Siemens, a global technology company. The New York Police Department has referred requests for confirmation to the U.S. Coast Guard, which stated it is still working to identify the victims. Siemens has not yet commented on the incident.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and officials are expected to provide further updates as more information becomes available
