Prime Minister of Somalia Clarifies Intent of Upcoming Trip to Lascaanod

Mogadishu (LM) Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre has announced that his upcoming trip to Lascaanod is aimed at strengthening the cooperative relationship between the Federal Government and the SSC Khaatumo administration. He emphasized that the visit is not intended to harm any specific area or administration.

Speaking at the transfer power of the Ministry of Defense on Sunday, Prime Minister Barre expressed his commitment to fostering unity and collaboration among different regional administrations. “My planned trip to Lascaanod is to enhance our cooperative efforts and ensure that we work together for the betterment of all communities,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s remarks come amid concerns about the implications of his visit, with some local leaders expressing apprehension about potential political tensions. However, Barre reassured stakeholders that the goal of the trip is to promote dialogue and mutual understanding.
