Prime Minister Hamsa: “Government to Move to the Front Lines of the War”

Mogadishu ( LM) In a decisive move to bolster national security, Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre convened an emergency meeting today to address the escalating threat posed by Khawarij groups operating within Somalia.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the urgent need for a coordinated response to eradicate these militant factions, which have been a persistent challenge to stability in the region. He announced that his government will actively engage on the front lines of the conflict, reinforcing the commitment to eliminate the threat posed by these groups.
“The Somali people have a significant opportunity to bring an end to the Khawarij groups, who are now in their final stages,” Prime Minister Hamsa stated. “This is a crucial moment for our nation, and we must unite to protect our security and ensure the stability of our country.”
To support this initiative, the Prime Minister directed security agencies to enhance their operations and strengthen security measures in the capital, Mogadishu, and its surrounding areas.
He called upon citizens to actively participate in safeguarding their communities, reinforcing the idea that collective effort is essential in the fight against extremism.
