Mogadishu (LM) The Somali National Army, in collaboration with local forces, executed planned military operations on Tuesday Night in the southern Mudug region, particularly targeting the El-Said area known for housing Khawarij bases.
These operations aimed at dismantling facilities and combat vehicles utilized by the Khawarij groups. Military officials reported the destruction of three combat vehicles and the complete eradication of the Khawarij base in the area, resulting in significant losses for the group.
The successful operations are part of the broader security strategy in the Mudug region, designed to enhance stability and security in areas affected by the presence of Khawarij militants. Officials noted that the coordinated efforts of the National Security and Local Forces are critical in the ongoing fight to eliminate these terrorist groups and ensure public safety, contributing to state-building efforts across the country.
