Mogadishu (LM) H.E. Ahmed Macalin Fiqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, stated the significance of national unity during a recent trip to the SSC-Khatumo region. Speaking to Somali National TV, “As a ministry, we work towards the unity of the country, and the SSC-Khatumo trip was of great importance to us in terms of unity.”
The visit aimed to strengthen ties between the federal government and local communities, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration. Minister Fiqi emphasized that such engagements are crucial for promoting peace and stability across the nation.
