Commander of Somali Police Force Visits Injured Soldiers at Rajab Dayib Erdogan Hospital

Mogadishu-(LM)Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, Commander of the Somali Police Force, along with Deputy Commander Brigadier General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed, visited the Rajab Dayib Erdogan (Ex Digfeer) Hospital to check on soldiers injured during a recent military operation in Mogadishu.

During the visit, medical staff provided updates on the health conditions of the injured soldiers. Commander Abdullahi emphasized the importance of ensuring that adequate care is provided, directing the establishment of a special committee to monitor their recovery closely.

“May Allah forgive you for the injuries you have sustained while defending our people and country from the threats posed by the Khawarij enemy,” said Commander Asad Osman. He reassured the soldiers that their sacrifices were recognized and that efforts would be made to ensure they received appropriate medical attention.

The Commander expressed his commitment to the well-being of the soldiers, stating that even if their conditions cannot be fully addressed at the hospital, arrangements will be made to transfer them to facilities that can provide the necessary care.

This visit underscores the Somali Police Force’s dedication to supporting its members, particularly those who have bravely served in the line of duty, protecting the nation from insurgent threats.
