Holy Fight Against Khawarij in Middle Shabelle: Ministry of Defense Spokesman Reports

Middle Shabelle, Somalia – The spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Somalia, Mr. Abukar Mohamed Hassan, announced that the Somali National Army (SNA) has successfully captured Masaajid Ali Gadud, a site recently attacked by terrorist groups. This operation is part of the ongoing effort to combat the Khawarij militants in the region.
Speaking to the Media, Mr. Hassan highlighted the decisive actions taken by the SNA, noting that many Khawarij militants were killed as a result of an airstrike during the operation. “This victory is a testament to the bravery and dedication of our armed forces,” he said, emphasizing the importance of these efforts in securing the safety of Somali citizens.
Mr. Hassan called for unity among the Somali people, urging them to support the SNA in its fight against terrorism. “Now more than ever, we must stand together as one nation,” he stated. “The fight against the Khawarij is not just the responsibility of the military; it requires the solidarity and support of every Somali.”
He further emphasized the need for collective action, saying, “When we unite, we can achieve our goal of eradicating terrorism from our homeland and ensuring a peaceful future for our children.”
As the SNA continues its operations in Middle Shabelle, the call for national unity and support remains paramount in the ongoing struggle against the Khawarij and their attempts to destabilize the region.
